Instead of building many small/medium sized libraries around the city (so that each area has one) they build one huge highly inefficient library that wastes so much energy (from ac or heating use). In business (especially retail) it is toughest to be in the middle (not high end or low end) so Macyās need to focus on deciding to go all in high income or low income customers. They are probably more suited to go toward high end with their history.

Salads & healthy diets I think is strongly correlated with the economy. When economic downturn hits more people will turn to unhealthy comfort food especially if you donāt need to or canāt meet people.

It seems like for communist/authoritarian undeveloped countries the treatment of its athletes is very very good compared to its living standard. Probably because they care highly how others see them (project power) and no other political group to oppose it. Not saying it is good or bad just how I see it.
