  1. I think that the video is using old data. Government employees last few years has gotten high wage increases. I’ve lived in China for around 10 years and most corruption I’ve seen is when a business wants to get a favor from the government like government contract or to process paperwork faster.

  2. and large population size which is why China might surpass USA in GDP but won’t surpass it in annual income per person wise.
