Europe needs to restart Nuclear Energy

One main unknown is if the Fed will really raise interest rates high enough to fight inflation or will allow inflation to be high? I think they will allow inflation to remain high because government and big companies have too much debt.

Does MHFIN own a lot of houses? His videos keeps saying the same thing but with different titles

Housing/Stock Market…always came back because of low inflation which allowed the government to pump up the economy again with printed money. Now with inflation so high they might be hindered to rescuing the economy again since Inflation is top concern of average voters today.

I think if there’s hyperinflation it will mean the Dollar being abandoned by other major countries around the world and no longer being the reserve currency. The US Dollar has kept its strength by other countries actively keeping their currency cheap to export more to US.
6
With high inflation rates governments also can’t rescue the stock market/economy with more $$$$ printing or lower interest rates. Developed countries Governments also can’t have high internet rates since they and corporations owe too much money.

I think USA will stay on top unless over 8 years the government goes far right or left and it’s friendly countries around the world decides to separate from it. That’s the main thing that China doesn’t have much of right now at least with developed countries. In regards to debt it seems like like the video said most countries also heavily in debt (including China) except maybe Russia before the war started.

@victor4091 It is already being replaced by Robotics

She’s trying to not panic her remaining investors

Nearly 13% (in 2013) of visitors were from outside the USA and with Trump policies scaring or getting people outside angry those visitors will decline greatly (same all over the US). These visitors are very likely also the big spenders and gamblers (since traveled so far).
4
The problem with holding so much cash is that it becomes worth less and less because of inflation/money printing
4
It’s the same in many countries of does the government let the bubble grow (and then big crash later) by saving it each time with government $$$ or do they let it deflate and feels the pain so that the whole economy and society doesn’t crash one day
3
Especially since we don’t manufacture that much anymore.
3
The number of startups worth a billion dollars might be wrong if real inflation remains very high.
2
But people vote out politicians that don’t give us instant gratification
2
We are being lied to but that is what most people want which is live better today regardless of the consequences for the future since they severely punish whatever politicians is in power whenever the economy gets worse regardless if the politicians did nothing to cause it.
2
What investments is best to hedge against this that hasn’t risen a lot yet?

Cash or Gold

Stephen With Baby Boomers retiring now and the working population shrinking the liquidation is starting….much of the developed world plus China is in similar situation.
2
@agold1702 why couldn’t it drop more…it’s still up 5000% over 5 years
2
Local governments (especially democrats) hinder the supply with zoning restrictions
2
and sacrificing the Dollar means inflation will go up even more since commodities and imports will rise in price. I think he will do this though because there’s too high debt in government and big corporations.
2
If the dollar falls then I don’t think that there will another currency that will take its place unless it is backed by gold or something else. Since all currencies today have the same flaw as the dollar politicians/citizens want instant gratification so if willing for the government to accumulate debt or debase the currency.

Especially with many previous overseas Chinese buyers not able to purchase them anymore

USA is NOT in as much trouble because all the major economies (including China) around the world is doing the same thing like money printing and higher inflation. It will still be bad but not as much as if the world lost confidence in US Dollar.

@brawndothethirstmutilator9848 I currently own Uranium thought about Platinum but not sure if the demand will increase in the future because of shift toward EV cars.
1

USA is in a good position but if the population votes for far right or left Government due to economic difficulties then anything is possible.

Don’t wish it but more likely a virus or something that wipes out a large percentage of people would help the earth….in depression I think people will burn everything (trees, coal…) to survive.

China bubble is housing = USA bubble is stock market
1
Well the President selects the FED and wants to get re-elected in a couple years
1
Crude is up so why is crude stocks in the US down?
1
The main thing delaying this is that Europe, Japan or even China currently might be even doing worse
1
Maybe it fits because I think Japanese and Chinese government debt are mostly funded by citizens of their country. Not an economist so can be wrong.
