  19.  @Stinkstiefel69  Barrack Obama called former french president Nicolas Sarkozy "Centre right". His party has been depicted as "Right wing" by this TLDR chanel and the french government. Macron's political party is crippled with openly socialists members coming from the Socialist party of François Hollande while also having a few traitors from the left side of Sarkozy's (centre right) party. Macron did not do much when it comes to tax release, the few that he did would still be considered left wing in other euro countries since France is a tax hell. He has not created any prisons, Barely increased the police, he closed a nuclear plant. Hes has been criticized by the far left for not attacking the few remaining wealthy french enough exactly like François Hollande, that's all.

Same goes for those " rights " who turned out to become privileges as not everyone could benefit them. A short majority of Italians are looking to get rid of some mistakes made by previous ideologies and they don't want anything else standing in their way, nor to establish new cumbersome rules.

Whether those electors are benevolent towards their peers has never been set in stone other than in religion and therefore everyone is bound to pull the sheets right off the corner which ultimately means politicians and their egos barely holds any impact as this mandate requires to follow the majority's will which have also carved their political stances way before their elections. Order is once again contested value by political opponents until you realize they have an other conception of that same term. To an other extent, the same could be said about knowing what everyone " needs " across the scale of a country. I second you in that eagerness for smaller governments however this would not allow predators to live off your back since they require a large array of preys in order secure their existence.
