Why would America impose EU sanctions and on the other hand demand that the EU help Ukraine in this conflict? The Nord Stream 2 pipeline is still able to deliver enough gas to the EU so that the people of Europe would not suffer during the winter, there is also a gas pipeline running through Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia that could provide enough gas for the countries of the former Yugoslavia as well as for Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, what is the problem with allowing gas to flow through these corridors at the lowest prices? That absolutely cannot be A source of income for Russia at the moment for the simple reason that Russian gas is otherwise bought through intermediaries and at much higher prices. This is obviously the best solution, especially at the moment when Germany is opening four arms factories for which it will definitely need gas?!?!
