  1.  @Vichikuma  I have travelled Tierra del Fuego and the Antarctic Peninsular (and Buenos Aires, Santiago on the way there) three times. Everything Chilean was well organized and straightforward and had an optimistic spirit. The only good things I can say about Argentina is beautiful women and tasty cows (steaks). The detail you are providing fits into my experience.

  2.  @charliescales6398  Ideologically biased stereotyping. The myth of happy Natives living in Arcadia until them bad colonialists came. Reality is more complex than that simplistic view.

  3. Ushuaia is not the southernmost city. Puerto Williams is more to the South and Puerto Toro on Navarino Island, opposite Isla Picton is even more to the South.
