Your way of reasoning is outlandish. According to you law is useless, as bad guys will not respect it anyway. Actually doing anything to reduce risk is useless. As in your binary world there are no degrees, no more or less of something. There are only false dichotomies: guarantees vs nothing, existence vs nonexistence. Seek professional help.

@CaucasianGeorgeFloyd There are many free countries in which mass shootings do not occur at the rate they do in the USA. Rethink your dichotomy.

@mrs.lilianfetters1432 And that is the only answer you can think of ? How about making the USA a better and safer place ? Gosh, to think that this country has once put men on the moon, yet today many Americans argue that nothing can be done to reduce school massacres... And that the only thing which can be done is delivering "thoughts and prayers" after another shooting.

@shebadog9628 You are correct. America was once able to put men on the moon. But doing ANYTHING to reduce mass shootings at school is UTTERLY INCONCEIVABLE. American society just has to cope with the danger of armed psychopaths. Anyone who thinks that something can be done with respect to the violence level is a fool. As the real contemporary American Patriot is passive when it comes to the safety of his or her children.
