  5.  @anotheranon3118  There is none. If a UN mandate needs unanimity, then lack of it means that the UN does not see it this way. That is the RULE. No matter if we like that rule or not. The attitude that we will defend a RULE based world order only to an extent rules produce decisions we like, is precisely why the West has lost its prestige and soft power over the last 30 years or so.

  7. ​@pianist1408 So you changed your implied statement from "Russia under Putin never won" to "Russia did win, yet against weaklings". You are making progress in retreating. I wonder to which position you will further retreat if you compare these 4 victories with the fact, that the US in the same time lost in the Iraq and against Taliban and is losing in Syria ? I mean if winning against "weaklings" is nothing than what is losing against "weaklings" ? Less than nothing, correct ?
