  3. There are exogenous shocks, mainly the R-U war, for which people do not blame any US politician/party. However Dems are blamed for big spending which also contributes to inflation.

  4.  @dietotaku  If by "fascist" you mean National Socialists, i.e. Nazis of Germany, then you are actually wrong. Hyperinflation was a problem of the early 20s. Mass unemployment of the global Great Depression in the 30s (accompanied by deflation) was the problem. And the Nazis actually fixed it, by massive government spending. Not surprisingly, as they mixed extreme right wind with some left wing ideas.
