  1. You confuse cause and effect. You think autarky is an autonomous decision and propensity to war its logical conclusion. In reality it was the other way round. Germany craved for autarky because it wanted to be able to conduct war. And then it had to conduct war to secure autarky. That is circular logic, my friend. Worthless. Yet murderous.
