The "inflator" is the fed government, not the average person. Giving money to regular people to cover living costs would be fine, if spending were cut in other areas - like bailouts on wall street.

@UFO_computers Things that are not supply side: 1)Corporate gouging using the excuse of inflation as a license to steal 2)Expansion of the money supply (aka Government Spending) 3)Sanctions that artificially create an increase in the cost of global goods ONLY FOR CERTAIN COUNTRIES (which is part of the supply side, but is not inherently a result of it).

@ringbearer1420 Well both sides do the contrarian and inconsistent thing. But yes, it was totally hypocritical for Dems to fight the stimulus checks (something they would normally be in support of) merely because Donald Trump wanted to do it. Just goes to show you that both political parties are really just corporate stooges. They promise different things, but when it comes to the actual delivering, it's virtually indistinguishable. How dare Trump promote a Dem policy!? Doesn't he know he's supposed to make promises and never keep them?!??

@crude prude The expansion of the money supply is a far bigger component of inflation then regular spending by people. The "inflators" are the fed government.
