  2. It doesn't matter if men are better at sports, it matters how many fans they can draw. Serena and Venus Williams are some of the highest lifetime paid tennis players ever, regardless of gender. Using your same analogy, if the 2nd salesman sold beaters in a greater volume (especially if the per/car commission as a percentage of the vehicle value is marginally higher), they could still make more money than the other salesman who would move less cars even though the overall price tag might be higher.

  3.  @tinotendamudzviti  No. But I can honestly say I like watching Serena play more than I like watching Roger play and that's sometimes the difference between paying money or not. And again, it's all about who brings in the money, not necessarily who is the best. Plenty of terrible "musicians" bring in boatloads of money.
