Showing scenes from R rated movies doesn't debunk a claim for childhood heroes. 2. There's a big difference between Japanese and Chinese culture (not that Chinese children can't have Japanese heroes.. but if you understood both cultures, you'd probably see the problems with insisting this is common). Of course, your overall criticism stands. There were plenty of Chinese heroes before Shang-Chi.

Every other source says her dad, and dad's parents are Afro-Jamaican, and if you look at pictures of the dad he has the "Afro" to prove it. I've seen many pictures of Indians, not once have I seen anything remotely similar to hair like that.

What changed is that in a couple of the middle episodes they add some woke language so they can give a speech about how PEOPLE died not "men". But honestly, it's a couple lines of dialogue and then it's over - it's not the main thrust of the show.

  39.  @KiraSlith  Chauvin DID do something wrong. He put his knee on someone's neck and left it there until a person died. This wasn't a police technique and even common sense dictates he could have removed his knee once the suspect was nonresponsive. He killed the guy. Whether it was intentional or not is open to interpretation, but apparently these guys knew each other and had a history. I'm not denying that the suspect was a drug addict or that he didn't have a criminal history, but if you think it's OK to kill someone for those reasons without giving the guy his day in court then we're not going to agree on this.

My conclusion is the same guilty conclusion he got (we might differ on sentencing because the jury got access to stuff I haven't seen, but that would be about the extent of it). If you're not convinced, you're welcome to your opinion.

Pop culture isn't responsible for the actions of our government or the state of the economy and those things have a far greater impact. In fact pop culture is often used as propaganda for the establishment forces that wish to control people, but again, that's not the consumption of art per se, but the bad faith actors involved, people Matt Walsh never criticizes.
