The thing is, the script was apparently even more woke then this version and the writer was told to tone it back. I can't imagine what the original was like.

Nailed it.

It's not utterly horrible, but it's anything but "good". The CGI alone is Shrek levels. I like Shrek, but I expect a bit more from the MCU.

@MST3Killa lol I'm all for the criticism, but I can tell most people are reacting to the woke parts without really knowing the canon. She-Hulk actually always DID have more control over her transformations then the Hulk. But it was because her power was a derivation of Hulk's (which also meant she wasn't as strong). It had nothing to do with mansplaining or such nonsense. But people still think her control difference in a Mary Sue thing when it's not.

@cjmunnee3356 Those are usually wrong because the people that update them don't know all the cannon. Also, a lot of the characters have been "re-imagined" so that might change the character. This is something the artists themselves struggle with as well. I remember reading an X-book with Artie and Leech where the colors had been reversed. Pretty big difference between pink and green, but if you don't know canon, you don't know canon. Maybe it was based on the new more masculine She-Hulk (that looks more like Hulk). That isn't something I'm familiar with. I had stopped reading comics long before that storyline or even stuff like the Red Hulk. I had already started to tailor off with the Grey Hulk stuff.

@cjmunnee3356 I'm not sure where you get that idea from. Her very first trigger and transformation was in Savage She-Hulk Vol. 1 #1 was very clearly anger. She was attacked by three guys, and as she struggled with them her transformation went off and she flung them away. Her first quote after was "Now let’s see how tough you are… against me!" After she chased off her would-be attackers, and she changed back to regular Jennifer Walters to get back to her room, a nurse challenged her asking why she was there. She lied and told her she was frightened from all the yelling and fighting (but this is an obvious lie to cover up the fact that she's the She-Hulk). Is that what you mean? I really don't know why you would think fear was any kind of common trigger otherwise. That would dramatically change the character if she was constantly anxious.
