  1. They lied. They knew their lies for what they were. They knew they were generating fear - they did it to achieve compliance. And the people that believed them, will believe them again. The people that were afraid, are still afraid. No amnesty for lost causes. Prosecution needs to start with the thought leaders in government, big tech, and media who made it all possible.
