  1. Eternals is no one's favourite title. They probably thought it was a good property to reinvent because of this. After all, it worked with Guardians of the Galaxy. Also, Avengers was never Marvel's strongest property and yet they did a great job with the earlier movies. They probably think they can pour talent into it and it'll work. Maybe it would if they weren't pouring woke nonsense masquerading as talent.
