@anonymousincognito7831 I think YOU are missing the point. Why are you having personal conversations with people you work with? And if you're going to have such a conversation, whose responsibility is it to make sure you're not disclosing personal information to someone that's untrustworthy? Only one generation ago it was generally understood there were topics you simply didn't talk about at work - especially politics. The wokesters are the one that wants everyone to talk politics all the time as well as talk about any other number of subjects that never used to be acceptable in the work place.

Go with the flow. Announce you are super straight and therefore don't need to know any of the things they're teaching. Knowing someone's sexual orientation has nothing to do with work, and my employer doesn't need to know the state of an employee's sexual status. In the unlikely event of an "office" romance, super straight can quickly and easily decide if they're interested in any potential partner. For a super straight male, for examlpe, having someone tell you they are anything other than cis-female is all you need to know they're not for you.
