Despite the fact that the majority of the comments seemingly are demanding blood, I think the fact that one is 12 and one 17 AND that they were both brought into police by a parent indicates it's still not too late to reverse this behavior. Jail time doesn't make people more empathetic, and that's what's required. Community service in an animal shelter would be a better fit.
