  1. @TheQuartering I normally enjoy your sizzle reels before you discuss a topic but you dropped the ball with this one. 1. Showing scenes from R rated movies doesn't debunk a claim for childhood heroes. 2. There's a big difference between Japanese and Chinese culture (not that Chinese children can't have Japanese heroes.. but if you understood both cultures, you'd probably see the problems with insisting this is common). Of course, your overall criticism stands. There were plenty of Chinese heroes before Shang-Chi.
