  4.  @snr9365  [Agree! But I read a study that if looking at "calorie-per-dollar," things like sweets/snacks/prepackaged stuff were cheaper. Nutritionally lacking for sure, but cheaper. It was called "The cost of US foods as related to their nutritive value" by Adam Drewnowski] Subsidies all go to the unhealthy stuff, so not really surprising.
