  1. Sounds like a ruse. The explanation for her genetic condition of XY would mean she'd have to constantly take hormone injections due to the related imbalance, no? Because assuming that logic follows, then it doesn't track that they wouldn't know they're taking constant hormone injections. One of these things are wrong.
