I'd be interested in knowing how much power they actually draw from all those solar panels. Or are they not even hooked up like their fake drainage grates and fake fire hydrants?

I especially liked the allusion to the CIA. Yes, people don't like when the CIA or the Feds gather data on its citizens. But China does it as a matter of course, so what exactly are you criticizing? Confession through projection.
126
If they're so anti-Japanese, why are they allowing anime or cosplay at all? The hypocrisy is ridiculous.
71
It seems modern art is as wacky in China as it is in the west.
43
Even if he hadn't tried to help people with a "Chengdu Challenge", he already demonstrated that there's a deep desire in China for truthful and useful information. As there is in any society. He probably has a lot of goodwill with his followers.
38
If you ask a Canadian what they're proud of about their country, 9 times out of 10 they'll tell you their healthcare system, even though they'll recognize it has its issues. The military won't even crack the top 10 in the mind of the average Canadian.

Taiwan needs to do better with its education if large swaths of people still think unification with China wouldn't be anything less than disaster. Mao tried to destroy Chinese language and culture to usher in his Communist utopia, and the CCP is still doing it. The last remaining true store of Chinese language, culture, and know how is Taiwan and they need to let the world know it.
31
My question is... .. how many of these Chinese people immediately tried to sell their ice cream once they got it?
30
"Overwhelming sense of ritual" is now my new favorite Chinese catch-phrase.
29
I actually admire these kids a lot. They seem energetic, open, adventurous, and clearly don't have a problem with commitment. Those kinds of traits are very cool, regardless of what you think of their hair.
28
No, closer to Mao's Little Red Book.
24
The fact that they're trying to act is what really sells the badness.
24
One important fact you forgot. The woman doing cosplay was doing it in a Japanese area, and was in line for a Japanese restaurant when she was approached by police. It's not like she was just walking around all parts of China in cosplay. On another note, you guys should do your research on "Anti-Racism" (which IS racism). You're really good at exposing Chinese propaganda but not very good at rooting it out in other countries.

Deep Thoughts... by Xi Jinping (from the book, "Wisdom of the CCP") "Once, I went to a wet market. But I was confused. I walked away perfectly dry. They should call it a dry market."
17
This hilarious Chinese state media is exactly why I sub to you. Classic fail.
14
@ironwolfF1 They also make good money with human trafficking, something they don't expend anywhere near the same level of energy demonizing.
14
I'm not sure it sends the message you think it does. Come to America, it's full of suckers you can take advantage of. Guys like this competes with other homeless people who don't scam the system.
13
Another perfect example of the CCP "solving" a problem, and creating a bigger one.
13
@BUSeixas11 The UK is 2nd when it comes to surveillance and Dear Leader Just Trudeau wants to take Canada that way too. It's a worrying trend.
13
Absolutely true about not compromising for critics that don't really care about your product. Now if only Japan will wake up and reject the woke idiots that want to censor anime and manga...
12
The CCP is improving. This isn't anywhere near as cringe as their previous raps.
11
No, no. You have to use only positive criticism. For example, I really admire the Chinese culture of street lounging. I know some people may call it homelessness, but that's ridiculous, since there is no such thing in China.
11
You would think the eagerness would be a red flag. Like a guy that wants to learn to fly a plane enough to take off and maneuver, but not land.
10
I confess, I flushed the toilet paper, regardless. No way I was putting poopy paper in a bin.
10
Deep Thoughts... by Xi Jinping "When I think of something important I put it on an app So that Chinese people can see How great I am. And you know what's really great? My legacy as the COVID king and Operation Fishkill! Those fishes didn't even see it coming."

I'm watching and listening, but in my head I'm hearing Rebecca Black's "It's Friday" over and over.

@johnlacey3857 There have been a number of cases in Canada, and this is tied to self defense (especially where a legally obtained weapon is involved) where the intervener was the one that the state took interest in - not the criminal. This falls in line with previous behaviour and legislation that indicates our government is more concerned with disarming its law abiding population then in dealing with actual criminal activity. State involvement with "good samaritans" is more limited, but it does happen. If you draw their attention and something registers (like if you saved someone using a weapon) suddenly you're the one in the crosshairs.
9
@RandomDeforge And if that was the reality in practice, everyone would be onboard with defund the police - which they're not.
9
They did, actually. But there are so many videos, it's easy for it to get buried.
9
I remember someone from British Columbia telling me the Chinese consulates were no big deal because there was only one, and it was Toronto. I told him there was no way there wasn't one in BC with the significant Chinese population there. Sure enough, one of the "newly discovered" is in Vancouver.
8
I was thinking the same thing. Rather than make China look bad, it makes Japan look good.
8
Sounds a lot like Canada.

@sheilacoulton775 "Really,Wrong, I suggest you look up the Law regarding helping someone that is being, bullied, harassed ,and physically assaulted. Naming your source as well.""First of all there are Provinces in Canada not states, the law on self defence is different from helping someone, if helping someone while having in your hand a weapon registered fro your defense can get you charged with assault with a weapon. it helps to educate yourself before you comment as providing misinformation in comments can be a reason to lose your YouTube account." At no point did I ever say Canada had states and not provinces. And thank you for proving my point by lying and threatening to having me cancelled. People are not dumb, they can very easily make up their own minds despite your desire to control them.
7
The thing that strikes me as the most odd about this whole thing is - if you have a problem with airing your dirty laundry in public, why are you now dragging a camera around so that you can berate another political leader in public? (P.S. Trudeau in that suit makes him look like PeeWee Herman, and he waddles away like him too - maybe he decided to go in search of his bicycle?)
7
China. Where British sarcasm truly shines.
7
The amazing thing about that training footage is that it looks like it might actually be effective against a knife wielder. The amount of fail by Chinese police and security is the norm, not the exception.
6
West Taiwan should be more responsible.
6
Just goes to show - it's not about making sense, it's about obeying.
6
In watching what is happening to Canada, I'm understanding it more and more.
6
He removed ALL state run media labels. So, no.
5
Just the color scheme. I think he's trying to look like Leon in "The Professional".

"Chinese Cartoonist" ChatGPT

US water quality problems (and general shortages) go way beyond Flint, Michigan. Having said that, it's still not comparable to China - their problems are far worse.
4
Xi Jinping simple phrases: "You knock me done, gimme some money, you knock me down. Pay me!" - Xi Jinping, probably

More than likely the "most popular news app in America" is limited to bots. Never heard of this app until now.
3
"She[wife] buys vegetables every day." The horror! This level of de-textualization is almost western levels.
3
Not making for PC is why BlueStacks is a thing.
3
If you're looking for so bad it's good, look no further than "New York Ninja". Filmed in 1984, finished in 2021 with an English Dub over that fully adds to the cheesiness.
3
The algorithm seems to keep removing it. It's by Just David.
3
@RonLarhz If you're implying they're more afraid of their government, then they are loyal to a YouTuber, that should surprise no one.
