@johnlacey3857 There have been a number of cases in Canada, and this is tied to self defense (especially where a legally obtained weapon is involved) where the intervener was the one that the state took interest in - not the criminal. This falls in line with previous behaviour and legislation that indicates our government is more concerned with disarming its law abiding population then in dealing with actual criminal activity. State involvement with "good samaritans" is more limited, but it does happen. If you draw their attention and something registers (like if you saved someone using a weapon) suddenly you're the one in the crosshairs.

Naming your source as well.""First of all there are Provinces in Canada not states, the law on self defence is different from helping someone, if helping someone while having in your hand a weapon registered fro your defense can get you charged with assault with a weapon. it helps to educate yourself before you comment as providing misinformation in comments can be a reason to lose your YouTube account." At no point did I ever say Canada had states and not provinces. And thank you for proving my point by lying and threatening to having me cancelled. People are not dumb, they can very easily make up their own minds despite your desire to control them.

@st20332 1) It's not by job to provide evidence to you, it's available by google search, etc. to you like it is to everyone else. 2)The fact that I don't go out of my way to provide things to you things you could obtain yourself is not proof it's not happening. 3)Don't pretend like you're actually interested in the evidence. You're looking for a reason to ignore it. I've already provided a few links but YouTube has either deleted them or blocked them from view and I'm not interested in spending more time on it.

@johnlacey3857 Thanks to Trudeau, Canada has been moving towards a lot of the elements that China uses. A few examples: 1)Persecuting Store Owners who try to defend themselves from Criminals (not that this is new). 2)Disarming law abiding citizens so they can't protect themselves, and introducing legislation to criminalize citizens that don't comply (China's already done that). 3)Use the police as their own personal gestapo to politicize basic expressions of rights and harass and jail accused members of the public who are then charged with "mischief" and "conspiracy to promote mischief" but treated as if they're capital offenders - denying them bail, etc etc. And that's when they're not using a pretext to invoke the Emergencies Act to completely violate Canadian Charter rights. One Liberal MP actually said in parliament that "Honk Honk means Heil Hitler". 4)Turning Canadians against each other by telling them that anyone who doesn't comply with their Government mandates are basically horrible people who put everyone at risk (all based on lies, of course). 5)New controls on media including the introduction of the QCJO incentive - now every journalist can be bought with money, not just the CBC. Bet the Xinhua news agency is close to jealously. 6)New controls on social media, controlling what Canadians see. 7)New controls on money, especially anyone dependent of government funds like Employment Insurance. 8)The introduction of legislation in the education system that, in practical terms, easily compares to the Mao thought and the rise of the student Red Guard. Sure, Canada isn't China yet, but boy does Trudeau admire the CCP and wishes it was. He's working hard to make it happen.
