Seymour Hersh, legendary journalist, "is off his rocker" but you guys are the experts. Stick to China, you have no idea what you're talking about and you're hurting your own credibility. Yes, China is doing propaganda for Russia, which is why they're pumping the story. But the story is TRUE, you morons! Even the US statement has retracted their original story of saying Russia did it (something that NEVER made sense).

It is well established that they often threaten to cut off gas, or actually do.] Yes they do, but that's because Germany needed it. Now they pay 4 times as much, much of it Russian any ways (because it goes through a re-seller like India) AND they've had to start up their coal plants to meet their energy needs. The Germans didn't want this. [In fact, they had already cut back the flow in this particular pipeline.] Right. That's why it was the worse ecological disaster in the last 3 years at least. [Who knows which explanation is "correct", I don't think we will ever really know, but there are lots of alternative explanations.] We know Biden promised to stop the pipeline. We know the US has a longstanding plan to sell energy to Europe. And we know that after the pipeline was destroyed that was exactly what happened. And Seymour Hersh is a legendary journalist for a reason. You listen to guys like him, not guys who don't know what they're talking about. The fact that he appeared on Xinhua doesn't make anything he said untrue, even if it serves the interests of both China and Russia.

@nerychristian [Follow the money. Who benefits from the destruction of the pipeline?] Interestingly enough, everyone but Germany. Blowing up the pipeline meant they couldn't sell it that way but that didn't mean demand suddenly dropped off. Now countries like India buy it from Russia and sell it to Germany and others at a profit. The people cheering this are morons.

Even the US State Department has constantly changed it's story - first saying it was Russia, then someone else, now hinting it might be the SBU. These guys can see the CCP propaganda but can't tell that every country engages in propaganda and are completely clueless.

@buttsmcgee8458 [There is no reason why russia would blow up their own pipeline in a manner they could never fix when they could stage an accident or terrorist attack on land at the facillity they control.] Or just turn off the taps since they control it. Blowing up the pipeline just means they can't turn the taps back on, something that isn't in there interests because they like being able to sell their energy.
