I remember the 2008 earthquake - the usual CCP response. There was one incident reported where hundreds, if not thousands, of children died because the school collapsed on them. The rub was that there was a school that was built to withstand earthquakes, but a corrupt politician relocated all the children to a building adjacent to it so that a business could use the earthquake proof building. Sure enough, after the earthquake, all their paper files, etc. were all safe and sound.
