Russia wasn't motivated by the bio lab, but their goal is certainly to obtain all the assets in the Ukraine, not least of which is it's nuclear generation facilities. Also, those biolabs have been around for 30 years and been funded by the US, in one of the most corrupt parts of the world. I would be very surprised to find out they weren't doing weapons research. It's more than likely this was another Wuhan type arrangement to do research in a country that is away from the view of most Americans. There's misinformation coming from Russia, and then there's the lies coming from our own governments. Let's not pretend like they don't both do it.
