  2.  @morganseppy5180  The contractor thing over here would qualify as hidden employment, so I'd assume they are on the hook for that too.

  3. ​ @morganseppy5180  It's "hidden" because the contractor is basically an employee, but pretends otherwise, to weasel out of labour laws. I believe the law is that if the contractor actually does enough other contract jobs then it's fine, but only getting income from a single client is basically employment, and should be reported as such. Of course paying under the table is also outright illegal.
