  4. Putin doesn't "get" the land or "get the powerplant." Russia is the invader. Russia is the colonialist who thinks they can continue their 500 year history of raping, killing, kidnapping, colonizing, wars, invasions, destruction, and then lying about everything to make them falsely look like the good guys. Trump is not smart enough to grasp this. He'd have to read a book and he's 100% not going to do that.
