@colegilbert673 he has said he would numerous times, it's Zelenskyy who refuses, amd demands that Russia leave, all or nothing. Let's be honestly realistic, that's not going to happen. It's just not. There is no incentive for that. Russia isn't halfway ran through, so this notion that it will be forced is also unrealistic, if Russia hadn't proven that all of 2022, certainly they have proven it all of 2023. Do you really need all of 2024 to understand? By then the toll for Ukrainians will be far higher then the New York Times already reported. The Donbas & Crimea is the best deal Zelenskyy will ever get, if he wants Russia to give up Zaporizia & Luhansk & the foothold in Karhkiv. When they ma,e it to Tokmak, or take Karkhiv, then maybe you can attempt to argue that Russias hand is being forced, but until then, you're not convincing anyone.

@colegilbert673 again, that's not going to happen. The Donbas has been without a Ukrainian Government for 10 years, & Russia sees it as unacceptable to not continue to care for the separatists, and the Russian civillians there. You're going to have to see this from their POV. Again, they have proven that they will sacrifice 1/3 of their military In a 2 year timespan, do you assume they will not sacrifice another 1/3 over the next 2 years? At what cost does your support take? NYT is reporting high losses, on both sides. Ukraine has shown its not as tough as you thought, unable to reach Tokmak. June will be 1 year for that offensive. How many months beyond that, before you see not much has changed? American elections get closer every day. Where you see advantage, I see exhaustion. So forget the arguing over who has what. How do we achieve peace, through negotiations, not demands? People are dying here, it's not a video game.
