  3. +Laura Kane Yep. All one need do to find out real quick how free they are is refuse to pay your taxes. There isn't even a such thing as private property in the land of the free. Don't pay your property tax? You will be removed from your house. So who really owns it?

  4. Laura Kane I agree with you. Why was Cornwallis given governorship of India following his defeat at Yorktown, and loss of the colonies? I always found that kind of suspect. A guy who had supposedly just suffered a crushing defeat to British hegemony, is then sent off to do the same thing he just failed at somewhere else? Why? Perhaps he had actually succeeded at what he set out to do, despite outward appearances to the contrary.
