  2. I remember meeting a woman from Portugal and one day we got talking about place names. I asked her if the "Port" in "Portugal" refers to ports. It seemed to make sense to me as the country basically follows the coast of that part of Europe. She had no idea and thought it didn't. Turns out I was right. Yay.
