About 300 Japanese balloons carrying bombs reached the US mainland during WW2, with 6 people being killed.

@RickJaeger Pearl Harbour is in Hawaii. That's a chain of islands in the Pacific Ocean. They're not "mainland" USA. In fact, they were an independent country that the USA had previously taken over. Hawaii was a good trade partner and had good relations with many countries around the world. Honolulu was perhaps the most multicultural city of its time, but the USA got greedy and took it as its own, imprisoning their king and queen.

@talotalo1192 The US is pretty bad. Islam is pretty bad. Communism? Meh. Not so good. I'm not the best human. So... Yeah...

Imagine if the US decided to clean up all of its places like that? They could start with the ones on the mainland, move to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, then go to all of these random territories lastly, cleaning up, giving people jobs in the meantime.

@wall7103 I remember hearing something like that. Such a small number of people compared to all of the death and destruction by the USA in the Middle East.

A little more than kicked out too. More like kidnapped, taken to a new place, never able to return to their home again.

I think Canadians are the only people on the planet aware of the War of 1812. Americans have done an impeccable job at hushing that down.

"Battle casualties"? It's not a "battle" when you drop a bomb on a fully-functioning city of people going about their usual day. It's cowardice.

@davecoalwood9487 I want to speak Mandarin and eat real Chinese food. China is the most peaceful of the Big Four superpowers.

@mrtortoise3766 They're so uninformed that they don't even know that Canada WAS British at the time, so when attacking Canada, they were attacking Britain, and when they were attacked by British, some of those attackers were also Canadian.
