  4. Considering it wasn't even supposed to be a company in the first place, it's not a big deal. I'd say the founders certainly got a win. People are still using Yahoo today, including myself, despite it just starting off as a little project between friends, never meant to make any money at all. That's a total win.

  5. I have three yahoo mail accounts - my main one, my old main one, and a throwaway account. I've had my oldest one since the 90s and use it as my main one today. I've never felt it was time to "upgrade". Email is email. Things I miss about Yahoo though: Yahoo Answers (great forum for asking and answering questions), Yahoo Games (free online games you can play with others), and Yahoo Radio (excellent free app where you can rate various songs, and it plays your favourites, along with recommendations. I really miss this. Huge selection of music too.) These days I rarely use Yahoo's search engine, but I always check Yahoo Weather. It's the clearest and usually the most accurate. I also check Yahoo Maps sometimes when I need an alternative to Google Maps. Sometimes its satellite imagery is more detailed.
