  2. My friend did that too. Mid-20s, going out with an older Japanese lady, but she started getting on his case about kids. He stayed with her a little while, then had to get out. Too much too young.

  3. I dated a Japanese girl who worked in the office of a dispatch ALT company that I was teaching for many years ago. It was hot, but she started talking about kids and marriage early on. She didn't directly say "I want to get married and have kids asap", but it was getting boring how frequently she would talk about someone just getting married or someone else who is having a baby. I overlooked a couple of major red flags and still really wanted to be with her, but eventually she broke up with me. I found out about a year later that she had gotten married and already had a baby. It's like some people don't even care about the person they're with. They just want to be married with a child. Your partner should come first. Kids should be the RESULT of loving someone, not the purpose TO love someone.
