  1. The way people use language can be revealing. The way she talked about "your family" or "the family" was pretty distancing. A caught my sister saying "My mom..." a couple times in the past. That was crazy. We just called her Mom. Suddenly she was only her mom? Very strange. I lost some respect for her then.

  3. Of course she endangered her son's welfare. She killed his father. A child's welfare is determined by their parents. Taking away a parent is taking away part of a child's welfare.
