  1. A Greek alarm clock not needing a wind up spring or escape mechanism is incredible but not absolute evidence of lost ancient high technology. This astounding artifact demonstrates levels of astronomical knowledge which may be a glimpse of what has been lost to time. Most would be recycled hopefully and one day we will be able to tell how much of the Antikythera was made using old parts.
