To run my tiny window air conditioner during power outages the 3.8 kwh LiFeP04 battery cost 1200 dollars, the AC inverter 200, the 3 charge controllers were over 600, cables were 300, and 1000 watts of solar panels were 600. And that`s not counting the tools, fuses, switches etc. And it doesn`t work on cloudy days. So it cost 350 for two plug-in chargers to top the battery off before storms.
