  1. My 12v 3.8 kwh lithium battery cost 1100 dollars in America. The sun has only shined a few days in months...so it`s impossible to power my small air conditioner from solar...not on a budget. But it can be useful to grab and store solar energy for later...say if that`s your only option at a remote cabin. To run my 400w AC effectively would require a massive array of panels designed to capture that 5 watts per 100 watts of panel on cloudy days and not only have enough to directly power the AC but also STORE enough to last until the next day...day after day. BIG GREEN is needed for "green" energy!
