Randall Carlson makes people think. I`ve never imagined that he, or anyone, is exactly right about all of this. He does present some great info about the past.

I`m here to learn both sides of the story because I`m interested in facts and not myths. I`ve seen a lot of strange things in my life including paranormal events witnessed by multiple people and had UFO encounters. Trying to make sense of it all but thew subscribers here are extremely intolerant and have ridiculed me multiple times for mentioning these things seeking answers. This ancient history stuff is another subject I`m very interested in. I`m also very curious how there are very concentrated areas of shark teeth and pieces of coral plus other remains of marine creatures in the hills of central Louisiana several hundred feet above sea level. Do you think the dinosaur killing asteroid washed these remains inland? Some have said a volcano killed these creatures. There`s an extinct volcano deep underneath Jackson, Mississippi. In Columbia, Louisiana they found the bones of an entire whale and in the Chalk Hills near Aimwell you can dig down a foot deep and fill a 5 gallon bucket half way with soil and wash out dozens of black shark teeth and white pieces of coral plus the rocks from gravel pits and in many of the streams in LaSalle Parish contain fossils of sea creatures and plants. They also discovered some gold in Hemps Creek in the area. There are lots of quartz pebbles mixed in with the gravel here. My grandfather told me they used to make their own lead shot from a lead mine in the Summerville area near Olla. The mine is now lost. Samples of the lead revealed a very high silver content. Another odd thing is when we drilled a 200+ ft deep water well on top of a hill for my aunt we drilled into a pine tree aprox 175 feet underground. I also noticed small bits of charcoal randomly distributed in the sides of a 10 ft deep trench cut into the red clay in this area. There`s a place near where LaSalle and Catahoula Parishes meet where the rolling hills get steeper and steeper before meeting a perfectly flat plain of the Mississippe River flood basin. There are tons of fossils in the sandstone along the side of the last hills where they cut the roadway and on top of one hill where an old fort was located right before the land becomes level.

@michaelwerkov3438 Look up "Ginger mummy" or "red headed mummies." Scientists have DNA tested these mummies. King Tut was related to Europeans.

@scienceexplains302 I remember people here talking about the whale found there. I`ve noticed that a LOT of old news stories are now scrubbed from the internet. I had copies of a lot of old articles and research on a PC that crashed.

@scienceexplains302 These are small black shark teeth I saw (I dontated them to a museum) but people have said giant ones were found sometimes in a few old creek bottoms in the northern part of LaSalle Parish. A friend of mine said they`re 100 million years old and mentioned something about a huge volcanic eruption west of here killing the sharks. I don`t know where he heard this. He`s no longer alive.

@scienceexplains302 I didn`t know Columbia was that low. I assumed this area is higher than that because of the huge hills but it`s much lower in elevation than I thought. The highest point in LA is Driskol Mountain at 500+ feet.

@scienceexplains302 On the banks of Trout Creek where it runs into Little River I found a deep layer of small bones when the water was very low. They had opel like colors. I took a bucket full home in the 1980s as weed fertilizer. I`m very curious about what happened there. I was digging arrowheads and pottery out of the creek bank high above this and noticed the bones layer several inches deep just at the edge of the water.

Sir, what are your thoughts on the effects of past volcanic eruptions on these past civilizations? I`ve been researching this lately and it`s terrifying. Check out documentaries on the year 536 A.D. and the year without a Summer. There are Chinese records of even older events that today would be devastating to our fragile civilization and food supply. I wonder if the recent Tonga eruption is partly to blame for the bizarre weather we`re seeing everywhere? The eruption was unusual because of the amount of water it injected into the atmosphere and is expected to cause heating instead of cooling. Some researchers believe multiple eruptions, possibly Krakatoa, and in Iceland, and even a huge eruption in South America (if memory serves) caused the climate disaster following the year 535 A.D..
