  1. My g grandfather had a grain mill on a creek. They eventually used the mill stones as their grave markers and people stole them. Now the land is posted and we can`t visit their old home site or graves. I`d love to take my Minelab Vanquish 340 to their old home sites in the woods. Years ago we could visit all the old home sites and settlements then people got deer leases on the land. I guess you can`t blame them. Outsiders would come in and vandalize deer stands and camps or we`d build a nice boxed in warm deer stand and on Saturday morning someone would be in it. If you confronted them they`d come back and destroy it. A poor man can`t hunt these woods anymore. But I remember our deer camp getting vandalized. Feces and trash all over the inside and damaged windows, missing boards or stolen wood stoves. I`m sure it`s far worse today so you can`t blame them for wanting to ban the general public.
