  2. I think if you turn on low iron bias nails will give a grunt sound. I think I saw that idea somewhere on here. My Minelab Vanquish 340 has high iron bias and the rust from old nails makes it ring up high like a coin. I love it though because it`s an Equinox "lite" and has similar circuitry and uses 5 frequencies at once. 5k up to 40k range. I got mine for 179 on an open box deal.
