  1. Donnie, I don`t drink much anymore, but I keep supplies at all times to make blackberry wine and sugar shine. I`ve had blackberries in the freezer since summer and yeast and sugar to make wine but haven`t yet. I have a little electric still that can brew one 5th of 100 proof and every once in awhile I`ll make about a half gallon to drink. My grandfather ran whiskey years ago and at age 33 gave it up after a bad wreck and became a preacher. There was an article in the paper about him with the headline, "I baptized my bootlegger." For years he had to carry two pearl handled pistols under his jacket when he preached because he made enemies by quitting.
