  1. I want to get at least two trails cams because my sister saw a mountain lion here. I want to see how many critters travel up the nearby creek too and what`s sniffing around in my yard at night. I hope to grow watermelons and just a few dozen ears of sweet corn next year but we have herds of raccoons and am hoping a radio in my garden will scare them off. A trail cam can show me if it`s working or if they`re still sneaking around waiting for the melons to get ripe. I also plan to grow yellow meat melons so I can eat them early. They`re sweet before they get fully ripe. I have a LOT of portable radios that I got free that aren`t very good that have rechargeable batteries. I may have to open them up so I can add a larger battery pack. I got some defective AM/FM/Shortwave ones free that are large with built in batteries. Coons got used to us leaving a radio in the garden so I`m thinking about using three or four of them cranked up loud on different channels. LOL! I feed the critters in Winter to help them out some so they aren`t scared of me.
