Aluminum is metal.

Oil causes global boiling, remember? We should all be living in the woods wearing rabbit fur to save the ice.

Modern LED lights use 100 watts in 10 to 20 hours depending on the light. This is nothing. A low wattage light is extremely easy to power with even a tiny solar panel. Everyone in danger of deadly heat from Summer power outages should get a folding portable solar panel with USB outputs and a USB fan. Even the small folding panels will power these fans full blast, cloudy or not, and you can get USB extension cables to put the fan wherever you want. These easily power a USB LED light bulb too. Use the panel to charge up a USB power bank for nighttime use.

For emergency power outages in winter a great backup is an electric blanket and 100ah lifep04 battery with an inverter or a medium sized solar power station. 100ah battery can be recharged with a generator using a 20 amp plug-in charger but you can`t charge lithium batteries below freezing. Ok to use them though. You can buy much more expensive self heating types or use the electric blanket to warm it before charging.

It shows 220 watts on my 300w Golabs power station which is good because the Golabs will shut down if you push the inverter up past about 280 watts. Cooked the rice very quickly too unlike my 12v 100w DC rice cookers but those can be wired up directly to a 100w solar panel.

My cat Fred will love this toy!

Something like this might be useful to connect to a simple noisemaker or something that moves and makes some noise to scare pests away from fruit trees.

I use low wattage USB fan with my oil heater and during power outages in summer. @foojub6907

After seeing the rice was at 85-90% done I flipped it to warm but it probably would have finished cooking if I`d unplugged it to conserve battery power in my Golabs. These can also be insulated by wrapping a towel around the cooker after unplugging to finish the process to conserve battery storage when relying on solar. My DC rice cookers have this switch too but you can`t see the rice cooking. I have the parts needed to wire them directly to solar panels and I need to get that set up soon before hurricane season. Even if you have plenty of solar storage and backup you must still learn and faithfully practice conserving power because sometimes you will need to know exactly how.

My Dash mini griddle only uses about 300 to 350 watts and makes perfect 4 inch pan biscuits because it`s heavy and retains heat and once it reaches cooking temperature the thermostat turns it off for most of the time so it`s very difficult to accidentally burn something. I got it to use with my smaller solar power stations. Smaller rice cookers are also amazing low wattage cooking tools to efficiently use with even the small power stations when camping or during power outages.

My tiny 500w cheap solar power station runs my 3.2 cubic ft dorm fridge about 26 hours when ambient temp is 78 or less. Total capacity of the battery is under half a kilowatt...about 480 wh.

Cops were brutal with traffic safety violations. The public demanded it. Lots of people were being hurt.
