  1. It’s not even close. Thailand is superior in every way (infrastructure, women, food, traffic, health care etc etc etc), apart from more English being spoken in the Philippines. Manila can't hold a candle to Bangkok for a vibrant, exciting 21st century capital city. But it’s better that Americans prefer the Philippines for the rest of us expats … 😅
