  1. The only way for sane folk to live is how Bo described, which is exactly how I live! Smartest thing I ever did was buy 50 acres with 1km of river frontage and a house on power for $85K 20 odd years ago, Down Under. I’ve lived out here the past 19 years working on improving the property with blood, sweat and tears plus plenty of financial input. Best money I’ve ever spent/invested. There is nothing more satisfying than working on your property, working on sustainability, planting trees, food gardens, tending the poultry, building projects, pruning, weeding, slashing grass, cutting firewood, fixing things, learning new practical skills and riding my sportsbike fast through the mountain twisties that are at the end of my 200 meter driveway, with my mates who live the same way. And none of us have a real job, and only one has a wife, who is the most ride or die old school woman you’d ever meet … 🎉
