  4.  @bodhixxx1  Much cheaper to live in the country if you are fit and as self sufficient as you can be. Cut your own firewood, grow your own food, raise poultry and meat animals or hunt, build without permits, make things, build stuff, repair things, repurpose things etc etc. Housing is also much cheaper to buy or rent. The key is to have no debt and own your property outright if you want to have a comfortable, stress free life. I’ve been living like this for the past 20 years and hit Thailand when I can for my R&R … 🎉
