I loved my languages and history and studied classics but am commenting here that I was so honoured to have studied Ugaritic under Prof Emeritus Nic Wyatt at New College plus many other brilliant tutors. I am so grateful to have had such a privileged education. Prof Wyatt has written profusely re Old Testament and texts from Ugarit. Maybe you are familiar with the study of Ugaritic.

  4. Professor Emeritus Nicolas Wyatt highlights the importance of cannanite culture which is highly polemicised in the Old Testament. Well I am a tad thicker skinned than oor ms Markle TF as camper vans have no relevance in my life. Do have to ask though is King Charles descended from Robert the Bruce? Just heard that. Maybe it's time to return to voting via the ossuary system of the early Greek polis
