Process includes interview, additional entrance test and other interests, achievements taken into account. I read grades were also expected to be lower this year. The young woman also did her Alevels at Acton school which I read in comments is lower achieving or considered an achievement to have progressed to Oxford. Better schooling enables students to achieve good grades, to have excelled is then extra effort from the student, more capable at independent study.
