When police arrived, they chased the suspect who opened fire at them, striking one of the officers in the upper-body area, officials said. Police returned fire and the teen was eventually taken into custody. No other injuries were reported, according to the CMPD.' wbtv

  2. He was under bond release with electronic monitoring, so had he yet been convicted? Title maybe misleading, officer may have been speaking of current charges as yet incomplete, no trial/sentencing.
